Shanell Assmus
Hi, I'm Shanell — Oklahoma's only Training Without Conflict® certified dog trainer. Dogs have been my obsession since our family brought home a Jack Russell Terrier when I was one year old. So much so that I ditched the corporate world and never looked back. I built this business because I was tired of watching dog owners feel helpless, ashamed, and out of options. Reactive dogs, aggressive dogs, dogs that have been written off — that's exactly who I'm here for. I've worked with dozens of owners who were days away from giving up their dog entirely. Some had already been told by other trainers that euthanasia was the only answer. I don't accept that — and in case after case, we've proven it wrong. My approach is radically different: no food bribes, no fear, no force. We train through play — unlocking your dog's drive so they actually want to work with you. The bond you build lasts a lifetime.
